Our ninth annual conference, EdTech 2008, was held in Dundalk Institute of Technology on May 22nd and 23rd 2008. Visit the EdTech 2008 conference pages.

EdTech 2009 will be hosted by the National College of Ireland on May 21st and 22nd 2009. Niall Sclater, Director of Learning Innovation at the Open University, will be one of the keynote speakers.

Mission Statement

ILTA is a community of professionals committed to the development and exchange of knowledge by sharing expertise and the promotion of best practice in technology-enhanced learning.

 

Our Aims

  1. To support a community, interested in enhancing learning with technology, across corporate, formal and informal learning sectors.
  2. To encourage collaboration between members and foster engagement between ILTA members and the wider community.
  3. To raise the profile of research and the dissemination of best practice in enhancing learning with technology across Ireland.
  4. To represent ILTA members nationally and internationally.
  5. To establish a framework for continuous professional development that will increase the skills and knowledge of the ILTA community.

To join simply go to the forums page and enroll yourself. Membership is free. (Note: Online enrolment is temporarily suspended, contact webmaster@ilta.ie to join)
